Hello, my name is Aidan Castillo, and I am a songwriter and performer in the DFW area. One of my greatest joys in life is to write songs, another is to perform them. My style works well for large venues in a group format featuring saxophone, drums, bass, keys, and lead players; and works just as equally stripped down for coffee shops in a solo or duo format leaving space for intimate vamps and jams between two passionate artists. My experience with different genres from worship to metal has given me a great deal of versatility and flexibility, both in the spotlight and as a supporting role for other artists. I draw inspiration from many artists and genres, but my own writing tends to keep true to roots rock and folk with expressions of jazz in many of the jams in-between the stories I tell.
